Our first visit to CCK was an adventure from the start. The day was stressful, flights were delayed for hours, and plans to meet up with a couple we’d been chatting with fell through. Fate had other ideas, and we arrived just in time, slipping in as the host was wrapping up introductions. After a quick tour, we were ready to dive in.
Surprisingly, he was calm and grounded, while she felt flustered, the day’s chaos lingering in the air. It was an amusing role reversal for us, as he’s usually the one unsettled and her so clam and collected.
What immediately struck us was how normal everyone looked, ordinary people in an extraordinary setting. This simple realization put us at ease. For a first time club experience, especially in such an open and public setting, it was reassuring to feel that sense of relatability.
We started the evening focusing on us, as we’d agreed. The night was meant to be about having fun together, and we weren’t in any rush. But after our first play session, we stepped outside and connected with other couples in casual, intriguing conversations. These weren’t deep life discussions but engaging talks about experiences and shared interests. Each interaction brought waves of reassurance and themes that resonated with us, making it easy to relax and enjoy the atmosphere especially as it seemed that most of the couples there that night were also first-timers or very new.
When we returned inside, the night took on a new energy, and things progressed quickly. What followed was a series of encounters and experiences that remain vividly clear in our minds. We played for hours, losing ourselves in the excitement until the crowd thinned out in the early hours of the morning.
When we finally left for our Airbnb, the night didn’t end there. We carried on the fun, reclaiming each other as we’ve done before, a ritual of connection that brings us back to where it all began, together.
That first night at CCK was a whirlwind of excitement, discovery, and intimacy a memory we’ll treasure and something we will be keen to repeat.
