We're constantly trying to weed through the shit with who is actually legit. It is quite demoralizing to be fair. If you say you're going to do something, do it. If you're able to play alone, prove it.

What festivals are there around New Zealand that accommodate our lifestyle. I know of Kiwiburn, possibly Aum Festival and that's about it. Are there any others?

A few times when we know we are going out, it's usually last minute, we just invite people out. We understand it's not the best way (kids, etc.). If people show, awesome. If not, at least we're out and are going to enjoy ourselves regardless. Swinger parties are a good way to meet, but they seem very few and far between of late.
