I totally agree. I think that sites like these are always prone to attract "posers" but at the same time it is hard for the site to put controls over them. There is no real way of telling and I think that we are always going to have them around, which really sucks!!
On the other hand I agree that it is polite to respond t emails even if its just to say no thank you.
