Good to read everyone's thoughts on this. We're newbies, and taking our time. The media hype about the dangers of meeting people on the net doesn't make you want to rush out and meet people in the flesh, so to speak. Nor does reading about fake pics and men posing as couples etc. What does help is communicating with experienced people who don't mind chatting about the lifestyle. For that this site has been good for us. In most cases we have replied to the messages we've received, and been pleasantly surprised by who we have 'virtually' met. I guess the single men out there who don't get a reply - well you have to admit it is a bit of a longshot.
