It was great night last night - thanks for all that came along. Some very fun and sexy people came long and I think some very sore heads today.
Hi sexy people of this sexy part of the world...
well the party list is getting rather full
for some crazy reason the party section of this site does not actually let me see if you have shown an interest in coming - as other guests have let me know this. So if you are keen to come along please send me a message and I will get in touch with you.
It is looking like it will be a very good night.
I had the shots done in Australia and the cost was around $140 aussie dollars for the lots of them. I have never returned an abnormal smear so my doctor said that because of my lifestyle choices I was the perfect candidate for the injections.
The other thing that is not talked widely in the Lifestyle is the HPV vaccine. It can prevent some of the most common STI's especially genatile warts and lots of cancers including cervical, throat, and anus cancers - which actually start out as STI. My doctor knowing my lifestyle choices suggested I get it. It was three easy jabbed done over a year. It did cost but for the piece of mind it is worth it.
The date has been set 26th November
I have already had a few very sexy couples show their interest and spaces will be limited so please get in touch if you are keen.
Okay thanks for clearing it up because that is not how I read the conditions at all, to me they read as no profit was to be taken for the event. Therefore all costs needed to be divided by the number of people coming which means money does become a big issue as per my example in the original post.
But I disagree with the aspect of profit, as my name suggests I am from Australia and over there the swinger sites we used allowed clubs to host for profit events - it helped to give the scene a less under ground aspect. It gives people incentives to actually put on events and promote this lifestyle choice. There is no way I would put on events just for profit.... It I wanted just a profit I would put in an that appealed to a wider audience, I put on events to have a good time, to met new couples and to promote a lifestyle that I love and believe in. All the for profit events in Australia that I went to had the same beliefs. Sometime you make a profit and other times you don't but what you aim to achieve at every party is for people in this lifestyle to have a fun night and come away with a positive impression of swinging.
Can someone please help me ? I have a few questions regarding hosting parties
How can I edit parties that I am hosting? How can I see who I have invited?
Those were the easier question now the big one which I think is really affecting the New Zealand swinger scene ...
Why can't people profit from an event???? it seems stupid to me - in Australia I hosted parties sometime I made a profit, sometime I made a lost other times I raised money for charity. For my parties I spent many hours over several weeks inviting people and managing the invite list so that everyone had a good time, I prepared venues for the event like theming and making sure beds were ready for play. I also spent many many hours the next day cleaning up the mess from the night before. During the actual party I made sure everyone was having a good time. I never put on parties to make money for my self but rather because I believe in this lifestyle. However there is a lot of work goes into hosting a good party and that is just increased if the party can not make a profit. By this I mean if say the venue hire is $350 for the night I need to divid how much that is for each person coming ... Sounds simple but not really this is swinging we are talking about - ten couples could come making $35 for the event, 4 couples could come making it $ for the event. I will not know how many people are coming to the event until it happens therefore wat price do you charge people....
To me this rule stops people putting on parties , if someone goes to the trouble of organizing a good party then why shouldn't they profit from it. If it was a shit party then the next party they host people will remember and not go.
By allowing people to profit from events we are encouraging more events which can only be good for the scene.
Winter is now over and we have oir free yime back no more slave to the snow so we are planning on hosting an INVITE ONLY meet and greet in Queenstown, please let me know by a message if you would be interested in coming along.
This event will be hosted in a bar in Queenstown towards the end of November. There will be an age bracket of between 24 to 46, it will be for couples only.
Please show your interest by sending us a message with face photos and a mobile number
Hhowever the venue is rather small so number will be strictly limited. To score an invite you must be willing to show a face photo of both members of the couple and provide us with a mobile number for us to chat with you briefly.
Look forward to hearing from you
Just watching the news and saw that new cases of HIV are at their highest level ever. Now this is very worrying for the swinger community as well as the wider community because the safer sex message is not getting through.
As our name suggests we are from Austalia, and there were active swingers and involved with two such internet sites. Both those sites were very big on promoting safer sex practices and often had forums discussions about it, so I thought I would start one here.
Back home we got tested every three months and about once a year went to a sexual health clinc. We always use condoms, we have never used dental dams, mrs sexyaussie has gotten the Cervical cancer vaccine because it is reduces the chance of some forms of gentile warts, this was on the advice of our GP who was fully aware of our lifestyle choices.
Here we have not been tested yet because we have only been here a little over a month but have made contact with the sexual health clinic.
So sexy people of the NZ swingers community ...
what safer sex practices do you engage in? How often do you get tested? Do you use your GP or sexual health clinic? How do people reduce their risks?
Safer sex is about being informed and reducing your risks!
We woUld love to come just depends on the weather and if we are working.
Thanks to everyone who came along last, it was a good turn out and a fun night was had by all. It just reinforces to us that NZ is the place for us, kiwis are a lot of fun and so easy to get on with.
I think I will hosting more events .
SO we have picked a venue - not the most exciting of places but we can walk from it! So if you would like an invite please message us and we will give you more details.
So I jsut a message from someone saying that Munch is a term mostly used by the BDSM community. Is that the case?
Like I said in the Brisbane swinger scene it is really frowned upon to have hair especially if you are a women. There is no pressure but like I said at lots of swinger parties over three years I have only seen one lady with hair.
So as some of you many have noticed we are a couple who are going against the tide and instead of being Kiwis moving to OZ we are Aussies moving to NZ anyway.... In Australian the big fashion down there is to be hairless especially for women. In three years of very busy swinging I have only ever met one other lady who actually had hair in her pubic area. Most guys do a very groomed looked where the rest are all bare.
I personally like hair there, well groomed but still there were most Aussie swingers want everyone to be fully waxed. I have looked at some of the pics on here including some of the lovely couples who have said they are eager to come to our meet and greet in Queenstown and well they all have pubic hair!!
So can I ask is pubic hair the fashion in NZ, have you have not jumped on the Brazilian bang-wagon???? If so you will be giving me just one more reason in a long list ( a very long list) of why I want to live in New Zealand .
Thanks for making it sticky ...
I hope people come too. We had thrown lots of parties in Brisbane and always have a good time so hopefully this will be the same.
We are moving Queenstown very soon and would love to carry on our swinging ways and hopefully meet some lovely locals.
So lets have a meet and greet
Friday 6th May 2011 from about pm onwards
Venue to be confirmed closer to the date - suggestions are more then welcome but of course in Queenstown/Frankton area.
So who is in ??? Who wants to meet some other swingers in the Queenstown and surrounding areas?
Thanks for that that makes sense.
In Australia we have used and both very good sites but you can only message when you are a paid member.
We will be in Auckland on our way to Queenstown.
My husband and I have been swinging for a few years mostly in Australia but are now moving to Queenstown so I've been getting familiar with this website and I need some help on a few things. We love swinging and wanted to keep up our favourite little hobby.
so after looking around I have these questions...
What is a "munch"?
If you are part of a group can you send all the people in that group an invite to something?
Can you post an event just to the group you are in?
I am sure I will have a lot more and well this might step on some peoples toes but is there another web site for this sort of thing?
Wanting to meet like minded adults for friendship and play as well as play only.
We have been swinging for 3 years n brisbane and just love it and are hopeing to be able to do it when we move there in April.
Get in touch if you are interested
