We would come if it happens

Been needing an excuse to get over that way

Just a thought -  How about a regular Meet & Greet in a bar (any of them will do but Greerton doesn't usually have music where Tga or Mount do).  If anyone wants to organize one or more "after-match-functions" that's cool too and no pressure on anyone who's not keen.                                 I'm happy to help organize, it's about time we put Tauranga on the map. Let's have a catch-up in Hamilton and go from there - (Mrs)

great ideas  all,  Like  your  options  too  Jenny

We would like to attend :smug:

We would be keen to meet a few locals if the date suits

count Kitty & I in, we are keen

hmmmmmm love to catch up n talk shit with the Urewera Kid and owe another couple a meal indoors as opposed to a hangi in a carparkcarpark in the rain on arrival to NZ.........lol

yes we are interested.  Would be fun!

us too!

Ok - so here's my latest thoughts - I'm keen on the 16th July as we're free that nite - however I'm not entirely sure about the Greerton Gastro Bar - basically we're not really pubs/bars type folk - I'm VERY KEEN to work in with others to make this happen - suggestions to date: somewhere - NOT too loud so we can talk - but loud enough than vanillas maybe don't freak out.........., heaps of parking, ability to get food if we want, ability to find a quiet corner or balcony - if we want to maybe .................... abit.  SO a few of us are keen to organize this - Awesome, Cowgirl and Thunderfox most notibley that I know of - SOO - do we agree to meet in the chat room to discuss this further sometime - or do we actually meet sometime - or I'm happy to give my ph no if that's also of help

Jenny

16th sounds good.

How about Cornerstone or Brew Craft as Tauranga options?

Mount Mellick or Rosie O'Grady's for Mt Maunganui?

Input please so we can all agree and get sorted.

Cheers

We should be free to come, 16th of July sounds great

I think the Mount Mellick may be too small and noisy for people to talk.

I haven't been to Rose O'Grady for some time.

Sound like July 16th is the date just need to confirm a venue

16th locked and loaded

Fabulous 16th July it is - I totally CANT comment on bars as we aren't generally bar folk - please bar folk - help with this - another suggestion was a bar out at Bethlehem - forget the name sorry

FUCK - even if we just DECIDE to make it the GREERTON GASTRO BAR - 16th JULY - 7pm - MIDWINTER XMAS - either XMAS THEME DRESSING OR RED.  - Lets make it happen - and take it from there - end of the day - we want it to happen - we can organize better from actually doing it.  Hey - big thing I did notice - it's not well signposted - I'ts the same place/building as the Oak Tree Restaurant -  and once in the building - we're all looking for the MIdwinter xmas themed folk - YES - please - I so want to meet more of you - lets just make it simple - stop fucking around - and in the meantime we can all bone up on other great ideas/places - love to make this a regular thing - where all feel welcome.

Jenny

based on the abuse here I no longer wish to attend this meet.

Would love to come and join the fun.

Gastro Bar on the 16th - 7pm Great I will be there, looking forward ti it

Hey guys, sounds like fun, would love to attend if we can get away that weekend, xox

Will be there. With bells on

Gastro Bar on the 16th at 7pm. Will venture out and meet some new people.  Thanks Jenny for the comment earlier in the thread on vanillas, yes, some of us need somewhere not intimidating where we can park close in case we lose confidence. Looking forward to it if I can find something red to wear.

Sounds like fun, we may well come along

Even if it's a bit of tinsel around the wrist - I will endeavor to remember to go and scope the place out sometime soon - as I see it must be part of the big building with The Oak Tree restaurant at the back - I'll get back with my findings ................
