Well I read the comments on all of the above, just got to remember this is a meet and Greet and have some fun afterwards. If you do a fancy Dress all the better for theme even if wearing a red Xmas hat or even some red tinsell, you'll know where it is and I hope myself to meet with those down there and have a chat and slurp a drink lol. I hope we can make sure we have fun and I'll look forward to location as well, so please include me for a great night.....ohhhh before I forget I will be the foreigner from Aucks so show me what you tauranga KS crowd hospitility is really like, so I'm in with a grin silly.gifhappy.gifcool.png lol

Gyps aka "The slurper"

Havent been on much but this sounds like a great idea and would love to come over and meet new folks so please put my name down.

I think it should be kept at the gastrobar. better located for people coming over from Rotorua.(only 48ks from Ngongotaha) after all it is a meet and greet. generally people meet for an hour or two and then go off to nightclubs or raves or wherever after.

Hi. Can you confirm please that the meet is all go and it is at the Greers Gastro Bar.

Trying to organise ourselves from this end and want to be sure we have the right date and venue.

Cheers

All systems are go.

Greers Gastro Bar

1334 Cameron Road

Saturday 16th from 7pm

See you there

Awesome, thank you for confirming. Should be a great night for all. xx

Ok - so I've just checked it out - Greer's bar is the one - if you have your back to the Tauranga Race Course - it is just before the roundabout on your right.  Hope to see most of you there - please remember this is a meet and greet - play time - is for after - {and yes I get the irony of saying that given Hamilton} - I"m thinking of taking sticky labels if I remember.................

Hi sounds like a good night,  I'll be there.

Hi, do you some space available for the meet n greet on Sat. We'd like to come if work allows us. Will keep in touch.

Cheers

As far as I'm concerned - and I know I can't speak for everyone - this is an open invitation to everyone who would like to attend - it is in a public place - obviously - and I've just put it out there - there are couples and singles of both sexes planning to attend - my personal aim is for more of us to put faces to names and hopefully we will all have fun and hopefully come up with a plan to have this as more of a regular ongoing event - not necessarily at this venue but it's a start - I know I'd like to get to know more folk - esp folk who are prepared to get out from behind their phones and computers and actually meet - and lets face it - hopefully connect and play.................

^^^^ What she said

Should be fun

Well said and I agree with Blueanu2,. Its a great opportunity to meet and chat

Been needing an excuse to get over that way

Cant make it this weekend due to work - will have to hang out until November

Hello! I am unable to attend this meet.... Have a great night all. Hope to meet you at the Tauranga meet and greet in November xx

Sounds fun would like to meet some locals !

We are sorry that we couldn't make this meet and greet. Well done for arranging this Jenny & others and for getting it off the ground. We will do our best to be at the next one and look forward to meeting some like minded locals there.

Thanks Jenny for planning the night it was a great night even though we were all spread out lol

Roll on the next one.

Cheers Michelle and Henry

Yes thanks for organizing this. Our only comment would be that it's a little hard for newbies to know who is who. We looked for the red clothing and Christmas tassles but couldn't see any. We did eventually work out who was who but it was a bit random, and as cowgirl said, got a bit spread out.

Would it be possible to have a sign on the table, like TSS or something, so people know that that is the right table to approach and introduce ourselves. TSS would of course stand for Tauranga Swingers Society :-)

Anyway, it all worked out in the end - we met some lovely people - thanks for arranging it.

Privateguy008 and a newbie Bi girl guest would be very keen, please keep us posted

Thanks

Definitely should do it again. Thanks Jenny

Hey guys thanks for the positive comments - sorry I've been out of touch for the longest time - for me anyway - I couldn't believe that it had f...... rugby on - sigh - but that's what you get I spose - end of day - I DON"T know bars - but I AM keen to organize more meet/greets - I think it was a great nite - and yes we were all spread out - my thinking is NOT too often - maybe one every 3-4 months - I hear Jo is keen on making one happen in Rotorua and there is Playful's one in November - maybe we aim for February in Tauranga again.  End of the day I WAS WEARING red lol.  I know it can be daunting for lots of us getting out from behind our computers etc but I for one love it - and folk are SO different in person - some of you I'd had total reservations on but in person - mmmmmmmmmmmmmm - well................ - I think you KNOW where that's going......... So in the meantime - ideas of places that are easy to find - easy parking - food available if required near by - reasonably priced - near motels or somewhere folk can stay - with a private pool option {or is that all just getting too hard} - somewhere public so not TOO daunting for new folk to venture to AND to feel safe - MUSIC would be good - but not TOO loud - always nice to be able to talk first - and open to a DECENT TIME - or at least a contingency plan for where to continue to party after for those party animals.........  I idea of a sign of some sort is a good one - I kind of just looked for lost souls with any type of xmas theme.............  Were you aware we had folk from as far as Wellington - few from Auckland, Rotorua, Hamilton etc - I think there is a need and desire for this type of thing - just not TOO OFTEN - keep them special - keep them inclusive - open - so newbies can come and know they will be included etc.  Jenny

ps SO nice to meet so many of you - well done

keen and willing , please message details ?

im keen too
