I'm an intelligent introvert here by virtue of that really.

I joined in 2010 and used to hang out here a bit - I also met my current partner here (that is, we met here and are now in relationship).

For the last couple of years I have been working on research for my doctorate (University of Auckland) which is about internet technologies and sex seeking. It was such an interesting experience being here, I decided to find out about other people's experiences. I'm interested in interviewing people about how they use various adult sites and apps, the interactions they've had and how they have found them. More broadly I'm interested in contemporary sex-seeking practices, how technologies might be changing or effecting those and any gendered patterns in that.

The research is within University ethical limits so that means I'm not here observing anyone/anything and not looking at or taking any material of any kind from the website. All information I collect will be with informed consent, which is why I am using interviews as my research method.
