Looking at some of the profiles above somehow not making it to 8, I might only be a 2! but you know 2 + 8 = 10 so I figure I'm the perfect invitee to one of these (not that I've applied).

Interesting reply. All credit for responding, but I struggle to see how they could be dismayed? If I was very good looking and thought I would have the looks to make the cut and was subsequently turned down.........Well that wouldn't help my self esteem one iota and I would be feeling considerably worse than dismayed. In the swinging universe we have met some amazing people (some so far out of my league it isn't funny), we have met many we don't have an attraction for, well we try and let them down with courtesy and respect. So if I have caused some offence, well so be it, but someone has to stand up for average, or for stretchmarks from having 3 kids or a few wrinkles from a life well lived.
Oh and by the way we have met some of the people that didn't make the cut, and they are gorgeous, sexy fun and beautiful inside and out.

Hey guys, we didn't end up applying but we know people that go regularly.
And they love it.
I think there is more to it than just looks. Imagine if you organize a party and you don't get along with half the people that show up? It's not a open club like CCK (we love CCK!) but I reckon you should see it more as a social event for a group of people that seem to get along and have some things in common. Both physically, and socially.
Then again, we might start complaining if we decide to apply and get turned down ourselves lol

hey if they wish to cater to the top 20%, then so be it, none of us are perfect (though some of you look bloody near it lol) , but we also all have our own preferences. And, if the preferences of these people is to have the percieved top 20% at their nights, then I think these people have the right to party with those that meet their standards. Sucks for the rest of us, but hey, we too wont play with people that don't meet our standards. If you are lucky enough, or work hard enough, to be an 8 out of 10, and that is also what you find to be attractive, then you are free to decide that. So why be offended? Though, I struggle to see how some of those above may miss the cut, wow, tuff crowd these organizers lol
